2025: Year-In-Review

With 2025 drawn to a close, we reflect with gratitude on a year of tremendous growth and transformation at the Samaritan Center! We are incredibly grateful for your support and friendship this year!

We continued our Dance for Mental Health classes with 6 week runs in the Summer and Fall. Taught by Renée Kurz, LPC, BC-DMT, this dance program offers movement experiences to release stress and tension held in the body, reconnect with yourself, and restore a sense of vitality.

In April, we held our first ever fundraiser over at Rachel’s Cafe & Creperie. Special shoutout to our board chair Todd Reinhart for his help in coordinating and organizing this event!

In May, we celebrated our annual Sparkles of Hope Gala, bringing together supporters and community partners to honor our mission and raise funds to expand access to counseling and mental health services. Thanks to our amazing donors, we raised over $23,000 for our community!

With May being Mental Health Awareness Month, Samaritan along with 11 other organizations were a part of Mental Health Awareness games with the Lancaster Stormers, which provided mental health resources for the local community.

We were recognized by the Lancaster City Alliance with our 1-year Member Milestone Award, an achievement thanks to our N. Market office!

In September, we celebrated the Ethics in Business Awards, recognizing local leaders for their integrity and commitment to ethical practices. This year, Sahd Metal Recycling was honored as the award recipient for their outstanding contributions to the community!

In September, we were so grateful to be part of Mental Health America of Lancaster County Suicide Prevention Conference: The Power of One. We were honored to connect with others who share the commitment to awareness, prevention, and healing!

We held our 30th annual Silent Samaritan Luncheon at The Eden Hotel & Suites with almost 300 women that attended the luncheon. Since its inception, Silent Samaritan Fund has raised over $1.7 Million!

We continued to expand our TeenHope program throughout local schools and districts offering mental wellness screenings and connecting students to essential support.

We participated in the 2025 ExtraGive and raised $48,558 from the generous support of 257 donors! We are overwhelmed with the generosity of our community.

In 2025, we were able to provide over 17,000 counseling sessions for our community!

Thank you for your support as we walk this journey together.

As we prepare for 2026 with joyful anticipation, we wish you and yours a happy and healthy New Year!
