The Impact
The Samaritan Center held another memorable Sea Glass Gala on May 18, 2023, at the Lancaster Country Club. With over 100 donors and supporters in attendance, we enjoyed an evening of fine food, and lively entertainment by the Lancaster Improv Players, and raffled off 12 extraordinary items – all to support the important work of the Samaritan Counseling Center.
The generous donations will be used to fund subsidies for individuals, families, and children who are unable to afford the full fee for counseling. The Samaritan Center provides more than 12,000 counseling sessions per year. The funds will also support TeenHope, our mental health program that screens for depression and suicide risk of students in Lancaster County middle and high schools.
