What is a Partner in Ministry?

The Partners in Ministry program is a partnership between local churches and the Samaritan Center. Churches contribute $1.50 per church member, up to a maximum of $1200 annually.

Through this partnership, clergy and their congregations receive vouchers, with the quantity determined by size of the congregation. These vouchers can be used for counseling sessions or as a $100 value toward insurance copays, educational presentations, consultations, events and seminars.

When you partner with Samaritan Counseling Center, your church expands their outreach ministry to the community. Because some of our clients lack insurance or cannot afford full payment of their fee, funds received through Samaritan’s Partnership in Ministry Program enable clients to receive counseling that they would not have been able to afford on their own.

The Partners in Ministry program also helps to fund local community outreach programs such as TeenHope, a mental health awareness program that screens local middle and high school students for depression, anxiety, and suicide risk.
