Clinical Training Director

Dr. Valerie Minnich is a licensed professional counselor in the state of Pennsylvania and holds an advanced certification in drug and alcohol counseling. Valerie has worked at the Samaritan Center since December 2020 in varying roles such as Research Coordinator (2020 – 2024), TeenHope Clinical and Program Director (2021 – 2024), and currently, as the Clinical Training Director (2023 – present). In her role as Clinical Training Director, Valerie supervises intern students and pre-licensed individuals working on clinical licensure. She is a nationally certified counselor and board approved supervisor with the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC). Valerie works with couples, families, addictions, and mental health clients. She is currently accepting new clients.
