Steven Schedler, MSW, LCSW, CAADC, CCS

Executive Director, Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Steven J. Schedler is a licensed clinical social worker who also holds certifications as an advanced alcohol and drug counselor and clinical supervisor through the Pennsylvania Certification Board. He also holds the certificate of competency in problem-gambling treatment from PCB. Steven received his bachelor’s in psychology from Penn State University and his master’s of social work from Temple University. For 20 years, Steven has served in a variety of human service roles including as a clinical supervisor and an executive director. Steven has a special passion for assisting those with co-occurring addiction issues, anxiety, and marital discord. In addition to providing counseling services, Steven provides coaching for those trying to support a loved one struggling with addiction issues. Steven is also an approved U.S. Department of Transportation and substance abuse professional evaluator. He is able to provide supervision for those seeking licensure as an licensed clinical social worker. Steven gives back to the local community by serving on the boards of nonprofit organizations including Elizabethtown Area Communities that Care and GOAL Project. With GOAL Project, he also serves as a trainer in the faith initiatives project, equipping area churches to effectively address addiction issues. Additionally, Steven helps train future counselors as an instructor for the Messiah University’s master of counseling program. Steven is also father to two amazing kids, and he enjoys the outdoors, including camping and hiking.
