Kripi Jain, MA, LAPC, NCC, R-DMT

Licensed Associate Professional Counselor

Kripi is a mental health counselor and Dance/Movement Therapist with experience working with children, adolescents, and families in both individual and group therapy settings. As an immigrant, she brings a multicultural and culturally responsive perspective to her work, recognizing how identity, culture, and lived experiences shape mental health across the lifespan. She also has a strong interest in working with adults, older adults, immigrants, and individuals navigating maternal mental health concerns. Her clinical approach is grounded in human growth and development, with an understanding that each stage of life presents unique challenges and transitions. Kripi works from a person-centered, body-based lens, creating a safe, collaborative, and respectful therapeutic space that honors both verbal and nonverbal forms of expression. She integrates trauma-informed care, evidence-informed interventions, and movement-based practices through Dance/Movement Therapy to support emotional regulation, self-expression, and healing. Kripi practices from an eclectic and holistic perspective, thoughtfully tailoring therapy to each client’s needs and goals. For clients who desire it, she incorporates faith and spirituality into the therapeutic process in a respectful and affirming manner. She is deeply passionate about mental health and committed to ethical, reflective practice. She is currently working toward her licensure and provides services under clinical supervision. She is especially passionate about helping clients identify the appropriate level of care and guiding them toward supportive resources and referrals that complement their therapeutic journey and overall well-being.
