Jimmy Elsner

Partnering Spiritual Director

Jimmy holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from CACREP-accredited Grace College as well as completion of a spiritual direction practicum with Sister Nancy Brousseau, OP through Dominican Sisters of Grand Rapids. As a spiritual director, Jimmy emphasizes the importance of paying attention to a person’s desire as an indicator of God’s invitation to them in their season of life. This can often be a starting place for those looking to go deeper in their relationships with God. In the spiritual direction process with him, the journey is open to what the directee brings to the session as the director, directee, and the Holy Spirit partner to put their attention on God’s work in the life of the seeker.
