Elizabeth Jones, LPC, NCC, CCATP, CGCS, PMH-C

Licensed Professional Counselor

Elizabeth is a licensed professional counselor with a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Messiah College. She is a National Certified Counselor, a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional, a Certified Grief-Informed Professional, and a Perinatal Mental Health-Certified counselor. She is also trained in the use of EMDR. She has experience counseling adolescents and adults including college students, people from international backgrounds, people experiencing homelessness, and those recovering from addiction.

She enjoys working with teens and adults on issues such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss, perinatal mental health, post-traumatic stress, communication skills, relational issues, self-esteem, stress management, multicultural issues, spiritual struggles, women’s issues, and career concerns. She is passionate about supporting women and men navigating fertility challenges, pregnancy and postpartum mood issues, perinatal loss and grief, and the adjustment to parenthood. She especially enjoys working with people in medical careers and in the field of education.

Elizabeth uses person-centered, strengths-based, and cognitive behavioral orientations while incorporating EMDR and techniques from narrative, solution-focused, and mindfulness approaches as needed. She seeks to create a safe and comfortable space for collaboration, exploration, and growth while helping clients develop hope, expand their capacity to make positive changes, and gain courage and confidence to take steps toward their goals.
