David Lovelace

Partnering Leadership Coach & Consultant

After a brief employment in the retail world, David responded to a call to seek ordination in the Episcopal Church. For 41 years, he served within the church as the pastor of a yoked parish, on the multiple clergy staff of an urban parish, and as the pastor of a suburban parish, including 21 years as the lead minister of a historic inner city parish. Additionally, David has served on a variety of boards and held many different leadership roles within the larger church community.
His time in ministry included organizing clergy groups for support and study, leading retreats, and providing a variety of learning experiences both in the church and in an academic setting. David holds a master of divinity degree and a master of sacred theology degree in pastoral care and counseling. He retired from active parish ministry in 2017 and particularly enjoys working with clergy and their families, as well as those within the nonprofit world.
