Dance to connect your body, mind, and spirit!

Often these elements of being a human person are split apart due to daily life tasks, stressful experiences, or lack of invitation to connect. Renee will guide you through gentle movement exercises and expressive prompts supported by an inspiring soundscape. Moving as one, whole person is beneficial to reduce inner tension, increase sense of freedom and creativity, and experience deeper communion with yourself and others.

All adult women are invited to experience the gift of dance to connect your whole being in a safe and supportive space.

Open to all adult women. No dance experience necessary.

$15 for single class or $60 for all 5 classes

About the Instructor:

Renee Kurz, LPC, BC-DMT

Renee has been dancing ever since she can remember. She followed this love through college earning a BFA in dance, then sharing the love as a youth dance educator for 8 years. During this time she danced with a range of modern dance companies, while also further pursuing different outlets of social service. In 2016, she felt called to bring together her love of dance and service, earning her MA in Dance/Movement Therapy from Drexel University in 2018. Since then, she has been honored to work with a range of ages and needs as a licensed professional counselor and board certified dance/movement therapist.

Directions Upon Arrival:

When arriving at St. John’s, you will enter up the stairs at the front of the building.

Entering the lobby, you will then turn left and enter up the stairs to the studio.
