Our Services

Samaritan Center’s Congregation and Clergy Consulting services offer support to individual congregations as well as regional associations. Further, our care team provides individual support for pastors and lay leaders through spiritual direction, coaching, and clergy support groups.

Consulting, Coaching, and Congregational Assessments

Faith communities utilize church consulting, the Congregation Assessment Tool, and clergy coaching for help in a variety of situations and circumstances including:

– Leadership transitions
– Planning
– Personnel issues
– Internal conflicts
– Team building
– Leadership development in the church

Ministry Assessment Progam (MAP)

The Ministry Assessment Program from Clergy & Congregation Care combines validated vocational and psychological assessments with two interviews. The result is the generation of a thorough report that is valuable for both the subject and the referring organization. Additionally, the report includes recommendations for helping the subject be successful in ministry.

Training & Classes

Congregational and Clergy Consulting aims to engage individuals and groups on a variety of relevant topics. View Our Training & Classes Page to see our suite of offerings. Some training hosted here at our facility may be accepting sign-ups while other offerings may be delivered by one of our presenters on-site at your organization.

Spiritual Direction

Those looking to understand their personal spiritual direction have many reasons to begin this journey. Contact us below or view the spiritual direction page for more information.

– A desire for informal spiritual companionship.
– Wanting to clarify your own mission, vision, and purpose
– A need to address challenges or issues, such as reaching an impasse in your inner life and spirituality.
– Requiring assistance in decision-making about a vocational change or transition.
– A desire to explore and embrace inner growth and transformation.

Clergy Groups

Clergy groups at Samaritan are ecumenical, with the goal of promoting collegial support for pastors and clergy. They are facilitated by leaders who have served within congregations and who also have training in organizational systems and dynamics. Samaritan can also provide facilitation of an assembled group of 3 to 6 participants, should you have a group gathered and are looking for facilitation.
