Jimmy Elsner, MA

Associate Executive Director

Jimmy holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grace College, a Spiritual Director’s certificate, and has earned and maintained his SHRM-CP credential since 2021. Leading day-to-day operations at Samaritan Center brings together his background in mental health and experience with organizational development.

Jimmy has extensive experience helping new or developing organizations build their people functions from the ground up by setting up baseline policies and procedures, systems, and ways to quantify employee experience. As the Associate Executive Director, Jimmy believes that leadership’s responsibility is to facilitate a mutually beneficial, long-term relationship between employees and the organization. He strives to build this relationship by prioritizing a common-sense response to the things that stop or block smooth operations. He is passionate about supporting the people and processes behind top-notch counseling services in our community.
