Deb Muenstermann

Clinical Intern

Deb is a counselor-in-training completing a Masters in Marriage, Couple and Family Counseling. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Work and both training and experience  in spiritual direction and clinical pastoral education. Deb has extensive cross-cultural experience working overseas and locally with those healing from traumatic loss, specializing in the use of creativity and journaling for processing trauma narratives. She has worked to run trauma healing groups overseas, providing trauma debriefing to those on frontlines of serving communities of continuous trauma. Also she has served in a chaplain role at a retirement home providing end of life pastoral care. 

Deb seeks to approach counseling through a family system, attachment awareness and emotionally focused lens. She is passionate about inviting the somatic and spiritual experiences of the client into the therapy process.
