Our Team: Interns

Austen Kewin

Clinical Intern

Austen is a counseling intern working toward a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Indiana Wesleyan University. He has diverse experience as a pastor, trained musician, outdoor retreat leader, and cross-cultural ambassador. He is passionate about creating safe spaces where people can be more fully known, combat shame, heal, and grow.

Austen is a champion for the holistic integration of heart, mind, and body and is particularly passionate about psychological and spiritual integration—helping bridge the gap between values, beliefs, and experience. His counseling approach integrates insight from interpersonal neurobiology, somatic/body awareness, narrative therapy, and internal family systems. He counts it a privilege to come alongside and journey with diverse groups and individuals.
