In the Christian world, retreats find their origin in Jesus’s own practice of withdrawing from those around him to pray in a secluded place to have time with his Father. We all need to withdraw and find a place for one-on-one time with God, the Source and Sustainer of our lives. Intentionally setting aside this time can open us to interior wisdom, the felt presence of God, and greater clarity in our desires. Making an annual retreat is an ancient rhythm that can open you to what God might be inviting you to in this season of life.

As part of the retreat, you will:

• Meet with Spiritual Director each day, helping guide you in prayer and discernment.

• Attend an evening meeting with other retreatants, sharing insights from the day

• Observe silence throughout (other than the above meeting times)

• Have the opportunity to step aside from day-to-day life and enjoy the slower pace of a retreat

$340 includes 3 nights in a single occupancy room with bathroom, all meals in the dining hall, and daily spiritual direction and companioning group.

Retreat Director: 

As a Spiritual Director, Jimmy offers a space for people to see their lives and the world more clearly in order to respond to God’s invitation. He works from an understanding that we have developed ego patterns over the course of our lives to try to protect our true selves from harm. This integrative philosophy is rooted in the understanding that healing comes from identifying and releasing these layers of insulation in partnership with the Holy Spirit so that we can live with more and more interior freedom. In spiritual direction with Jimmy, you can come as you are. Your journey has already begun, and your work could initially include discerning what is happening in your relationship with God in this season. From that place of groundedness, you listen for the answer to the question you started with, “What’s my spiritual Direction?”
