Simon Dietz as Executive Director
The Samaritan Center is pleased to announce the appointment of Simon Dietz, LCSW, CAADC, as Executive Director, effective June 29, 2026.
Following a comprehensive search process, the Board of Directors unanimously selected Simon for his proven leadership, strategic vision, and unwavering commitment to Samaritan’s mission of providing compassionate, high-quality mental health services throughout Lancaster County.
Simon is no stranger to the Samaritan community. Having most recently served as both Interim Executive Director and Clinical Director, he has played an instrumental role in guiding the organization through a period of transition while strengthening clinical programs, supporting staff, and cultivating meaningful relationships with clients and community partners. His steady leadership has reinforced Samaritan’s commitment to making mental health care accessible, affordable, and centered on hope and healing.
A Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC), Simon brings extensive clinical expertise alongside a deep passion for helping individuals navigate their personal journeys toward healing. Throughout his career, he has been recognized not only for his clinical knowledge but also for his ability to build strong teams and foster a culture where both clients and staff feel supported.
Simon believes that exceptional care begins with exceptional people. He is committed to cultivating an environment of open communication, professional development, and continuous learning, encouraging every team member to bring their unique strengths, creativity, and compassion to their work. By modeling trauma-informed care and maintaining a client-centered approach, he helps ensure that every individual who walks through Samaritan’s doors feels seen, heard, and valued.
His clinical philosophy is rooted in the belief that healing happens through authentic human connection. With a unique therapeutic approach that integrates the psychology of movement and the power of interpersonal relationships, Simon empowers clients to reconnect with both their bodies and emotions as an essential part of the healing process. This holistic perspective reflects Samaritan’s commitment to caring for the whole person—emotionally, relationally, and spiritually.
